Hey, I'm Ali Mohamud — a software engineer who enjoys building tools, writing code, and occasionally writing about code. This is my little corner of the internet.

I write about the things I find interesting: programming languages, developer tooling, system design, and the occasional deep dive into something that caught my attention. If you find it useful, great. If not, it was still worth writing.

What I work with

My toolbox changes, but some things stick around:

• Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go (and whatever the project demands)
• Web: whatever gets the job done with the least overhead
• Editor: Neovim, with a Catppuccin theme naturally

This site

Built with Eleventy and Tailwind CSS. The color palette is Catppuccin — Mocha (dark) and Latte (light). Toggle the theme using the button in the top-right of the tab bar.
